Mamma Angela, the mother-in-law of LaBrezza's founder Marco Abdi, has been the culinary heart of LaBrezza Ristorante since it opened its doors in 1987. Maurizio and Madina Abdi took over LaBrezza Ristorante to continue their family's legacy. Maurizio, who returned from a career in professional football in Europe, and Madina, a law professional, are dedicated to preserving the warm, family-oriented atmosphere and authentic Italian cuisine that made LaBrezza a beloved fixture in Calgary.
